• Speed Limit are 80,100 & 120 Km. Many road are under Radar surveillance and fines can cost you QR.300 – QR.1,000
• Seat Belts are compulsory.
• A Number of traffic lights are under camera surveillance. If you go through a red light you’ll be fined!
• Taxi and Bus often pull over or stop abruptly to pick up a fare. Be aware
• If you driving out the town, watch for camel crossing the road.
• If you have the unfortunate experience of being involved in an accident, stop immediately where you are. Don’t pull over the side of the road, even if you are in danger of blocking traffic. Police have to be notified of every accident, regardless of whether or not there are any injuries and report must be issued.
• No damage can be repaired without Police report, even a touch to the paint.
